Despite the rumors floating around that the Orlando Magic was working on a three-team deal to acquire Golden State Warriors' guard Monta Ellis, Warrior owner Joe Lacob has no interest in trading him according to CBS' Ken Berger.

This deal being struck down does raise some questions for the Magic with their chances to re-sign Dwight Howard if he is not traded at the deadline. Ellis would have been a major acquisition for the Magic and would have helped them late in games with his shot selection. It also could have helped them late in games if the score was close and they had a threat like Ellis.
