The constant target of trade speculation, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard made some comments on Tuesday night that have rubbed a lot of the fan base the wrong way. Howard said that he has decided to stay with the team throughout the rest of the regular season, a move many believe is because he wants to join the Nets without them having to gut their roster by trading for him. But that is not his choice to make, it's the organization's, and Howard's comments show that he has the control. Magic officials aren't too pleased about it.
Quite clearly, Dwight wants his cake and eat it, too. Some Magic officials privately disgusted with his comments tonight, sources say.

Howard is taking the Magic franchise hostage just like Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James before him, something that was not supposed to happen with the new CBA. Looks like whatever provisions they instituted to try and avoid this type of situation aren't really working.
