2012 Arnold Palmer Invitational (Leaderboard Update)

The first round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational is underway at Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, FL. As of now, the current leader in the clubhouse is South Korean Charlie Wi who shot a six under 66 in the first round. American Nick Watney, shot a four under 68 in the first round and stands alone currently in second place.

Also impressive was Tiger Woods who shot a three under 69 to tie five other golfers including Justin Rose and Anthony Kim for third place. Other notable golfers that have finished their rounds include Ernie Els, Zack Johnson and Jim Fuyrk all at one under. Phil Mickelson is at one over after his first round 73.

Much of the afternoon groups are still in the early stages of their rounds so there is plenty of time for the tournament standings to move around before the first round is through.
