The Miami Heat are blowing out the lowly Detroit Pistons through one half at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan. The Heat hold a 59--36 advantage after just 24 minutes, hitting 57 percent from the floor to scorch the Pistons. Dwyane Wade leads all scorers with 14 points on six of eight from the floor.
Meanwhile, Lebron James has facilitated the offense to perfection, nearly racking up a double-double in the first half alone. He has eight assists already and has added 11 points to help drive the Heat to 59 first-half points. On the defensive end, Miami has already forced Detroit into double digit turnovers. The Heat cannot get complacent, however, as we saw them nearly blow a 30-point halftime lead in Philadelphia less than a month ago.
