Louisville Vs. Florida Score Update: Gators Come Out On Fire, Lead Cardinals 41-33 At Halftime

With a berth in the Final Four on the line, the Florida Gators have come out on fire, leading the Louisville Cardinals 41-33 in a West region Elite Eight matchup.

The Gators are shooting 66.7 percent from the floor in the first half, and have made eight of their 11 three point attempts. Four different Florida players have hit two shots from deep. Kenny Boynton has led the way for the Gators, scoring nine points and dishing out five assists, with Erik Murphy adding 10 points and six rebounds.

Despite the hot shooting of the Gators, the Cardinals have hung around, thanks to the inside-outside presence of Kyle Kuric and Gorgui Dieng. Both Kuric and Dieng have scored eight points for the Cardinals, who as a team shot just 43.8 percent in the half.

With a victory Saturday night, Gators head coach Billy Donovan would make his fourth Final Four appearance.
