Three teams in the state of Florida are ranked in the top 10 of the USA Today/ESPN College Baseball rankings released earlier on Monday. The Florida Gators are ranked No. 1 in the country with a record of 22-2 after taking two games of a three game series with South Carolina.

The Florida State Seminoles stayed at No. 4 with a 21-3 record in the country after taking two of three games against ACC foe Wake Forest. The Seminoles and the Gators play each other Tuesday at 7 p.m. from the Baseball Grounds in Jacksonville. Television coverage of that game will be on Sunshine Sports.

The Miami Hurricanes are also playing strong and are ranked No. 8 in the nation at a 19-5 record after taking two of three against Maryland. The only other Florida team in the top 25 is Central Florida at No. 17 with a record of 19-6.

No other Florida teams are receiving votes at this stage of the season.
