Heat Vs. Pacers Recap: Miami Drops Second Straight Road Game By Double Digits

The road-weary Miami Heat dropped their second game in as many nights on Monday, falling 105-90 to the Indiana Pacers. It was the second straight double-digit loss after last night's struggle in Oklahoma City. The Pacers were on fire from behind the arc and the Heat simply could not get any stops on the defensive end to get back in it and make things interesting down the stretch.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade led Miami with 24 points each. James, however, committed six turnovers and the Heat were sloppy again with the basketball. Combined with that, Indiana simply could not miss -- putting six players in double figures and shooting 56 percent from three-point range and 46 percent from the field. While Danny Granger led all scorers with 25 points, both David West and Roy Hibbert added double-doubles as Indiana was determined to get one against Miami this season.

Wounded, the Heat now return home to face the defending champion Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. Dallas may be looking for revenge from the Christmas Day massacre the Heat put on them so it will be another tough test for Miami.
