Florida Vs. Florida State Baseball: Game Preview, TV Info And More

The Gators took the first meeting of the 2012 season in Gainesville, but the Sunshine Showdown moves to Jacksonville, where FSU has won the last four meetings with UF.

No. 1 Florida (22-2) and No. 4 Florida State (21-3) will meet for the second time this season, after the Gators took the first of the Sunshine Showdown Series 9-3 in Gainesville 9-2 on March 13. Tuesday's game will move to Jacksonville, where the 'Noles have won four straight against the Gators, and seven in a row in neutral site meetings.

Both teams enter with momentum, winning weekend series against Wake Forest (FSU) and South Carolina (UF). FSU will start junior right hander Scott Sitz (1-1) for the third time this season. Florida will start right hander Greg Larson (3-0), for the first time this season. Larson has allowed just two earned runs in 18.0 innings this season and boasts a 1.00 ERA.
