The amount of matches in the Sony Erickson Open each day has dwindled considerably since the beginning of the tournament, but their quality is really starting to improve. There will be four matches on Wednesday, two women's matches and two men's matches, each delivering a spot in the tournament semi-finals.
The men's schedule is highlighted by a match between Rafael Nadal and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Nadal, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, doesn't get to playa lot of players that are nearly his equal athletically. He might find that in the No. 6 seed Tsonga.
The other match is between No. 4 seed Andy Murray and No. 9 seed Janko Tipsarevic. Times for both of these matches are still to be announced.
The women's matches feature the highest rated player in the field, and perhaps it's biggest name. In one match, Serena Williams takes on No. 5 seed Agnieszka Radwanska, while No. 1 seed Victoria Azarenka and No. 7 seed Marion Bartoli.
