Just one day after Davis Love III shot a course record 6-under round of 64 to take the lead at the 2012 Honda Classic, Tom Gillis matched Love's 64 on Friday, and is currently tied atop the leaderboard with Justin Rose, both golfers 8-under and holding a one stroke lead over the field entering Saturday's third round of play.
Love regressed Friday, shooting 2-over in the second round, dropping into 11th place with six other golfers. Much farther down the leaderboard sits Tiger Woods, tied for 31st place with 10 other golfers at 1-under.
The third round will be televised nationally on NBC, beginning Saturday at 3:00 PM EST.
