Sun Belt Tournament 2012: Saturday's Bracket And Schedule

The Sun Belt Tournament tips off Saturday night with Troy taking on South Alabama, Arkansas St. taking on FAU, and FIU taking on Western Kentucky.

The Sun Belt conference tournament tips off on Saturday with three games on the slate. In the first match up of the evening is Troy taking on South Alabama in the first round of the tournament. Troy walks into the tournament riding a two-game winning streak and hope to continue it against the Jaguars. South Alabama however has bested Troy twice already this season and will be looking to make it three in a row. The game tips off in Hot Springs, AR at 7:00 p.m. ET.

In the second game of the evening, Arkansas St. and Florida International face off at 7:15 p.m. ET. The teams are fairly evenly matched, but Arkansas St. has bested FAU once already earlier this season and the Red Wolves are coming in on a two-game losing streak. The Owls are coming in on a losing streak of their own, losing their last four games heading into the tournament.

The final game of the first round of Sun Belt Tournament sees Florida International take on Western Kentucky at 9:00 p.m. ET. Both teams have struggled on the season, as the Golden Panthers picked up a win entering the tournament, snapping a long five-game losing streak. FIU and the Hilltoppers split their regular season match ups as each try to win the rubber match and advance to the next round of the tournament. The Hilltoppers enter the game riding a two-game winning streak.
