MEAC Tournament 2012, Florida A&M Vs. Delaware State Final Score: Rattlers Win In Overtime 65-55

The Florida A&M Rattlers punched their ticket to the semifinals in the 2012 MEAC Tournament in an overtime victory over Delaware State. FAMU took an early lead at halftime, 33-25, but let the Hornets get back into the game with a second half surge that sent the game into overtime. The Rattlers collected themselves and went out and dominated Delware State in the overtime period, outscoring the Hornerts 12-2 to win the game 65-55.

Amin Stevens led the way for the Rattlers, nearly picking up a double-double with 16 points and 8 rebounds while Yannick Crowder also picked up 8 rebounds to go along with his 12 points on the night. The Rattlers out rebounded Delaware State 38-29 on the night and held the Hornets to just 5 of 19 from three-point land on their way to the win.
