SEC Tournament 2012, South Carolina Vs. Alabama Final Score: Tide Rolls 63-57

The Alabama Crimson Tide took down the South Carolina Gamecocks on Thursday in the first round of the SEC Tournament. The Tide took a 37-26 lead into halftime over South Carolina and never looked back. The Tide finished off the second half winning 63-57, as Damien Leonard and Brenton Williams both picked up 13 points to lead the Tide in scoring, while Bruce Ellington was also able to pick up 11 points. The Tide defense held South Carolina to just one of six shooting from the three-point line.

With the win, Alabama advances on to the next round to take on the Florida Gators on Friday in the next round of the tournament. Florida is the No. 4 seed and held a first-round bye.
