MEAC Tournament 2012, North Carolina Central Vs. Bethune-Cookman Final Score: Wildcats Hold On To Win 60-59

In the quarterfinal of the 2012 MEAC Tournament, Bethune-Cookman took an early 40-30 over North Carolina Central at halftime. It looked like the Wildcats were going to run away with the win, but the Eagles were able to battle back in the second half. Cookman nearly played themselves right out of the game with NCC taking a late one-point lead.

Cookman was able to pull out the victory however in the closing seconds to punch their ticket to the semifinal round. The Wildcats will take on Hampton in the semifinal round on Friday March 9, with the hopes of making it to the MEAC Tournament Championship Game, with a chance of making it an all Florida final if Florida A&M can get past Norfolk State.
