MEAC Tournament 2012, Florida A&M Vs. Norfolk State Final Score: Rattlers' Run Ends With 56-46 Loss

Florida A&M's incredible run in the 2012 MEAC Tournament came to end on Friday night with a 58-46 semifinals loss to No. 2 seeded Norfolk State. The Rattlers simply ran out of gas on the offensive end, as Norfolk State clamped down, forced 19 turnovers and allowed the Rattlers to shoot just 34 percent from the field.

Junior Amin Stevens led FAMU with 20 points, but no other player on the club scored more than five points. Three Norfolk State players scored in double figures for the win.

Norfolk State will now face No. 4 seed Bethune-Cookman on Saturday for the right to play in the NCAA Tournament. That game will be broadcasted on ESPN2 at 1 p.m. Bethune-Cookman topped No. 8 seed Hampton, 81-72, in the other semifinal.
