2012 Sony Ericsson Open Results: Novak Djokovic Defeats Andy Murray In Men's Final

The No. 1 player in the world Novak Djokovic added to his impressive resume by defeating No. 4 Andy Murray 6-1, 7-6 (7-4), in the men's final of the 2012 Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.

After winning the first game handedly, Murray had a lead in the second game before Djokovic came back to win in a tiebreaker.

Murray committed 18 unforced errors to Djokovic's 17, and Djokovic was able to get an edge with his 11 winners during the match.

This is the 31st career title for Djokovic who continues to add to his impressive accomplishments. He will be looking to win his 6th career Grand Slam during the 2012 French Open which gets underway on May 28.
