The Tampa Bay Rays are coming off a rough series against the Boston Red Sox where they were only able to find one win in four chances. And now after sweeping their first series of the year over the Yankees, the Rays have lost their last two series. Now they head North of the border for a three-game set against another division rival, the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays are the fourth best team in the AL East, but they are probably the strongest fourth best team in all of Baseball. They have some serious power up and down their lineup, and they play in a bandbox up in Toronto, which means that they could be a threat to pull out a win on any given night. The offense needs to show up for the Rays as always, but the pitching will be crucial in this series if the Rays want to take it.
We'll have plenty more on this series throughout the next few days on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all the latest news and updates.
