2012 NFL Schedule Release: Tampa Bay's Lone Primetime Game

The NFL released schedules yesterday for all 32 teams, which means it's time to go up and down and pick out each spot where your team can earn wins. That also means it's time to start circling some dates on the ol' calendar, and that typically includes the primetime match ups. Here is out Bucs Nation blog with more on the Buccaneers lone primetime opportunity.

There's just one prime time game, and it's in Minnesota in week eight on a Thursday night. That Thursday night game comes on the heels of a Sunday game against the Saints at home, giving the Bucs only a few days to prepare for the Vikings, especially so when you factor in the travel time to Minnesota. That certainly won't help them win. The fact that the Bucs have no other prime time games makes it likely that the team will face a lot of blackouts this year.

Every team will get a Thursday night matchup this week, so that game for sure won't get blacked out.
