Sources close to Orlando Magic forward Dwight Howard are denying claims that he is sitting out the rest of the season so that he will not play for head coach Stan Van Gundy according to a report on ESPN.com.
"It's a completely made up, BS story," one of Howard's representatives told ESPN.com.
Howard has been out with a herniated disk in his back for the last two weeks or so and it has led to the Magic dropping to the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference with four games left until the playoffs. The Magic will make the playoffs this season but if these issues continue to spiral, they could be facing a short trip to the playoffs and a long summer in Orlando.
