The Orlando Magic have been a circus all year long, and just because Dwight Howard has signed on for another year in the Sunshine State, that does not mean that the drama is over. According to Alex Kennedy at Hoops World Stan Van Gundy may quit as the coach of the Magic after this year.

A growing number of people within the organization believe that Van Gundy will quit after the season, mainly because he doesn’t want to go through the Howard circus again next season. Sources close to the situation say that Van Gundy was ready for the organization to move Howard at the trade deadline so that the franchise could move on and once again focus on winning games. He’s not interested in going through that drama again next season

Dwight signed on for another year, but that really just means that the Magic were given another year to try and impress him with some roster moves. It appears that Van Gundy doesn't want to be part of the situation any longer, at least according to this report. We'll have more information on this story as it develops.
