The stretch run of the NBA regular season is underway, and the Miami Heat has the chance to pick up two wins at home this weekend.
On Saturday, the Heat will face the lowly Washington Wizards who bring in a 16-46 record into the contest. Washington has been playing better as of late, winning two straight games and four of their last six. The Heat won the only meeting between the two teams so far this season, pulling out a 106-89 victory in Washington back on February 10.
On Sunday, the Heat will welcome the Houston Rockets to South Beach. The Rockets are currently fighting for the last spot in the Western Conference playoffs at 32-31, and are currently a game back of the Phoenix Suns for eighth in the Western Conference. The two teams have not met this season.
