Magic Vs. Jazz: Orlando Falls 117-107 To Utah In Overtime

The Orlando Magic (36-27) dropped their second straight game Saturday night, falling to the Utah Jazz 117-107 in overtime in Salt Lake City.

Jameer Nelson led the Magic with 23 points and 11 assists, but despite hitting 15 three pointers as a team, to just four for Utah, the Magic were unable to come away with the victory. Orlando made just two of eight shots in overtime, getting outscored 16-6 in the extra period.

The Magic played without Dwight Howard, out until next season after back surgery, Hedo Turkoglu and Earl Clark. Jason Richardson and Ryan Anderson stepped up for Stan Van Gundy, scoring 21 points apiece for Orlando, each draining five three point baskets.

The Jazz outscored the Magic 62-36 in the paint, with Utah big men Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors having their way at times with Orlando down low.
