Rockets Vs. Heat Final Score: Miami Defeats Houston 97-88

The Houston Rockets took their best shot at the Miami Heat, but just didn't have enough to steal a win, falling 97-88 at AmericanAirlinesArena in Miami on Sunday afternoon.

LeBron James led Miami with 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists, potentially sealing his position as a front-runner for league MVP. Norris Cole, who got the start tonight in place of Mario Chalmers, finished with 16 points and four rebounds, while Joel Anthony, not known as a scorer, added 11 points.

For Houston, Chandler Parsons finished the game with 23 points and six rebounds, Goran Dragic contributed 16 points and Courtney Lee scored 14 points for the Rockets in the loss.

The loss eliminated Houston from playoff contention, and they will head to the NBA Draft Lottery for the third straight year.
