Marlins Vs. Mets: Can Miami Bounce Back Against The Mets?

The Miami Marlins were supposed to be competing for the NL Division this season, while the Mets were expected to bring up the rear. But that hasn't been the case so far this season, and that wasn't the case on Tuesday night when the Mets got a 2-1 history in this series opener. The Marlins have an opportunity to bounce back on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm and can be found on FS Florida.

These two teams played in a pitcher's duel on Tuesday between Josh Johnson and Johan Santana, but the Mets bullpen ended up being a little bit better than Miami's, and they were able to walk away with the win. The pitching won't be quite as good on Wednesday when Mark Buehrle and R.A. Dickey.

We'll have plenty more on this series throughout the weekend here on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all of the latest news and updates. For more on this and every series for the Marlins, please head over to Fish Stripes. For some perspective from the other dugout, please head over to Amazin' Avenue, SB Nation's New York Mets blog. As always, you can head over to Baseball Nation for more on this and every MLB baseball game.
