Marlins Vs. Mets Final Score: Miami Goes Down 5-1

The Miami Marlins fell once again to the New York Mets on Wednesday evening, losing 5-1 and dropping their fourth game in a row. Marlins starting pitcher Mark Buehrle fell to 1-3 on the season, despite having a solid outing pitching seven innings and giving up only five hits and two earned runs.

The Marlins took an early lead in the fifth inning with an Omar Infante home run. Unfortunately David Wright hit a two-run shot to give the Mets the 2-1 lead and from there the Mets just continued to add runs and hold down the Marlins bats.

We'll have plenty more on this series throughout the weekend here on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all of the latest news and updates.
