2012 NBA Playoffs, Heat Vs. Knicks, Game 1: Tyson Chandler May Miss Game, According To Report

The Miami Heat may have one less weapon to worry about on the court when they open the 2012 NBA Playoffs against the New York Knicks on Saturday. Via ESPNewYork.com:

New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler is battling the flu and could miss Game 1 of the team's playoff series against the Miami Heat on Saturday.

Interim coach Mike Woodson told reporters in Miami there is a "strong possibility" the defensive stopper won't play.

Chandler is already ailing, having battled a sore knee and a left wrist injury for the past few weeks. The New York big man did not play in the team's regular-season finale on Thursday, and did not practice on Friday. His absence from the lineup would severely hamper the Knicks defensive efforts against Miami.
