The Tampa Bay Rays are ahead on the Texas Rangers through five innings by a score of 4-2.
The Rays Ben Zobrist is currently chasing down a cycle in the ball game already going 2-2 and registering a triple and double. Zobrist, Jeff Keppinger, Luke Scott and Sean Rodriguez all have RBI's thus far for Tampa. David Price started on the mound for Tampa and has struck out five Rangers batters through the first five innings.
For Texas, offense has been hard to come. Josh Hamilton has one hit and RBI on a ground ball to right field that allowed Elvis Andrus to score in the first inning and Yorvit Torrealba scored on an Andrus grounder in the bottom of the fifth. On the mound for the Rangers is Derek Holland who hasn't fared very well against the bats of Tampa.
He's walked one and struck out seven Rays batters, but has also given up just as many hits and of course, the four earned runs.
