The Florida State Seminoles are the top-ranked college baseball team in the country, still. According to the new USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches' Poll, the Seminoles are perched above the rest with a 36-7 record this season.
The Seminoles have won seven straight games, sweeping Rhode Island and Miami during that stretch. They start the month of May with a game at Jacksonville, before hosting Maryland for a three-game series.
The Florida Gators fell from second in the rankings to fifth after dropping their recent series with Arkansas. The Hogs are ranked 13th in the current poll.
Another Florida team is also in the top 25 rankings this week. Central Florida, the Knights, at sitting at 15. That marks a big drop from the week before when they owned the seventh spot in the rankings. They lost their last two games to Memphis.
Miami also stayed in the top 25 this week, falling three spots from 18 to 21. The Hurricanes have lost five of their last six games.
