Ferris State And Union College Tied at One After Two Periods

Union College scored first when sophomore left wing Daniel Carr scored from Greg Coburn. Coburn originally took the shot, but it deflected in front.

Ferris State did get chances on the power play, where it registered two shots on goal but failed to score on its first chance. However, on its second chance, junior left wing Kyle Bonis took a shot from center ice and it went passed Troy Grosenick at 17:02.

Goals will not come easy in the third period and if either team is going to avoid going into overtime, they should attempt shots even if it doesn’t look pretty at first.

Each team was more offensive minded in the middle stanza. Ferris State registered 18 and Union College had 12 but each goalie is making a name for themselves in net and not letting many go by.
