Grizzlies Vs. Heat Recap: Miami Blown Out At Home By Memphis

The Miami Heat were blown out on Friday night, losing 97-82 to a Memphis Grizzlies that blitzed them from the jump. The Heat were woeful on the offensive end in the first half, and could never recover and get stops in the second half to get back in it. The Grizzlies also hit 47 percent from behind the arc to keep Miami at arm's length and score a huge road win.

Memphis' athleticism flustered the Heat in the first half, shutting them down on the defensive end. Dwyane Wade had three turnovers and just one field goal in the first 24 minutes. He turned it on a bit in the second half and 20 points and 7 rebounds. LeBron James scored a team-high 21 points but was just two of six from three-point range.

It was just the third home loss of the season for the Heat. They'll have an opportunity to bounce back on Sunday when the lowly Detroit Pistons visit American Airlines Arena.
