The Miami Marlins are coming off of a rough series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and things don't get much better as they head up the West Cost to take on the San Francisco Giants. The first game is on Tuesday and first pitch is scheduled for 10:15 pm ET. You can find the game on Fox Sports Florida.

The pitching matchup will be a difficult one for the fish, as they have to face Matt Cain. Tim Lincecum has been the ace of the staff for the last couple of years, but Cain has pitched way better than him this year after receiving an enormous contract in the offseason. He only has a 1-1 record, but his 26 strikeouts are among the best in baseball.

We'll have plenty on this series throughout the next couple of days on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all the latest news and updates as they become available. You can also head over to Fish Stripes for more on all things Miami Marlins baseball. For some perspective from the other dugout, please head over to McCovey Chronicles, SB Nation's San Francisco Giants blog. As always, you can head over to the SB Nation Major League Baseball hub for more on this and every series.
