Hot Hot Hoops is reporting that LeBron James of the Miami Heat will be named the NBA's Most Valuable Player for the 2011-2012 season.
The award would be well-deserved for James, as he finished third in the league in scoring (27.1 ppg), fourth in steals (1.85 per game) and 11th in field-goal percentage at 53.1 percent, which was also a career-high for him.
This is James' third MVP award, as he won it with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009 and 2010. Only seven other players have won the award three or more times in NBA history.
Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant is expected to finish second in voting.
