Rays Vs. Orioles: Tampa Bay Drops Second Game Of Weekend Series 5-3

The Tampa Bay Rays (20-14) entered the weekend tied with the Baltimore Orioles (22-12) for first place in the A.L.East. Two days later, they find themselves two game out following a 5-3 loss to the first-place O's on Saturday night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Tampa Bay lost, 4-3 on Friday.

Starting pitcher Matt Moore struggled at the onset, surrendering four earned runs and four walks over four and one-third inning and Baltimore led 4-1 after five as a result.

A single from Luke Scott in the sixth would score two runs, to narrow the margin, but the Rays could never score quite enough.

The final game of the series is scheduled for Sunday at 1:35 p.m. EST.
