2012 Indianapolis 500: Weather For Pole Weekend

Qualifying for the 2012 Indianapolis 500 is set for this weekend in Indiana and of course both racers and patrons are eager to hear about what the weather forecast has in store.

They won't have too much to worry about for Pole Day, as according to Weather.com, Saturday's forecast will feature sun and warm temperatures, with no chance of rain. Patrons will want to stay hydrated and keep the sunscreen handy, as the expected high is going to be 87 degrees.

As for Sunday's qualifying, the same is to be expected, as the forecast calls for sunny skies and a predicted temperature of 87 degrees.

Here is the qualifying schedule for the weekend.

May 19: Qualifying from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET

May 19: Fast Nine from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET

May 20: Qualifying from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET
