2012 Indy 500 Qualifying, Pole Day: Start Time, TV Schedule, Radio And More

Saturday is Pole Day at the Indianapolis 500, with drivers looking to qualify and lock down starting positions for next week's race. Via the folks over at SB Nation, here is the official schedule of events for Saturday's qualifying:

11 a.m. ET - Qualifications Begin

4 p.m. ET - Ceremonial Lap Honoring 50th Anniversary of Parnelli Jones' 150-mph Lap

4:30 p.m. ET - Fast Nine Qualifications Begin

6 p.m. ET - Pole Award Presentation, Yard of Bricks

Four-lap qualification runs will determine the top nine racers, who will then race at 4:30 p.m. to see who records the fastest speed and earns the pole position in next weekend's Indy 500.

The qualification rounds will not be televised, but the Indy 500 will provide live streaming here beginning at 11:30 a.m.
