Rays Vs. Braves Final Score: Tampa Bounces Back Against Atlanta, 5-2

After losing the first game of their Interleague series on Friday night to the Atlanta Braves, the Tampa Bay Rays redeemed themselves with a 5-2 victory on Saturday afternoon at Tropicana Field.

Atlanta jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the top of the second inning, but Matt Joyce came through big time for the Rays in the bottom of the third inning as he belted a grand slam that also brought in Elliot Johnson, Chris Gimenez and B.J. Upton.

Tampa would put another run on the board in the bottom of the sixth inning on a solo home run from Sean Rodriguez.

Game three of the Rays/Braves Interleague series will take place tomorrow afternoon. First pitch is at 1:40 PM, EST.
