Rays Vs. Blue Jays Final: B.J. Upton Walk-Off Double Wins It 5-4 In 11 Innings

After dropping the first game of the three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Tampa Bay Rays capped off their second win in a row. The Rays too an early 4-1 lead after three innings, but a Blue Jays rally sparked by an Edwin Encarnacion two-run home run to tie the game 4-4 in the top of the eighth inning.

The two teams failed to plate a run in the final inning, sending the game into extra innings. In the bottom of the 11th inning, B.J. Upton doubled to left field off Darren Oliver, scoring Rich Thompson for the game winning RBI.

James Shields went 7.1 innings striking out 10 batters, but Jake McGee picked up the win after working through the top of the 11th inning.
