After finishing the regular season with a 41-14 (16-8 Conference USA) mark, the Central Florida Golden Knights head into the Conference USA tournament as the No. 2 seed. Central Florida, currently ranked 17th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll, will take on the No. 7 UAB Blazers (29-27, 9-15) on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
The Golden Knights will then play No. 6 East Carolina on Friday and No. 3 Tulane on Saturday as part of pool play. The other pool contains No. 1 Rice, No. 4 Southern Miss, No. 5 Memphis, and No. 8 Houston. All games will be played at Trustman Park in Pearl, Mississippi. The championship is on Sunday, May 27, at 1:00 p.m. between the winners of both pools. It will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
