The United States Men's National Soccer Team begins one of its busiest stretches of the year with an international "friendly" against Scotland on Saturday at EverBank Field in Jacksonville. The U.S. will then play three friendlies and two World Cup qualifiers over an 18-day period through June 12.
New head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has taken to calling the upcoming slate a "five-match" tournament, as the team begins preparations for the 2014 World Cup. Klinsmann took over for Bob Bradley as the Americans' coach last summer and has since gone 5-4-1, including a 1-0 win over Italy in a friendly on Feb. 29, 2012 -- its first-ever win over the Italians, ending a 10-match winless streak.
Saturday's contest against Scotland will be televised by the NBC Sports Network and Galavision at 8 p.m. EST.
