2012 Atlantic Sun Baseball Tournament: Kennesaw State Advances To Championship, Crushes FGCU

The Kennesaw State Owls demolished the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles today in the Atlantic Sun Baseball tournament by a final score of 13-4.

The Owls' were led on offense by Andy Chriscaden who had seven RBI's in the ball game. Chriscaden his a grand slam home run in the bottom of the first inning, a triple in the bottom of the fifth inning that brought in another two RBI's and then grounded out in the bottom of the seventh inning with no outs that brought in a runner for his final RBI of the ballgame.

On the FGCU side, Sean Dwyer had three RBI's on the day and Brandon Dednar had one and that was all the offense the Eagles would be able to muster as they are eliminated from the Atlantic Sun tournament.

Kennesaw State will face off against the top-seeded Belmont Bruins for the championship.
