The Miami regional will carry a distinctly Florida flavor. The group of four is not only headlined by the No. 1 seed Miami Hurricans (36-21), who are hosting the regional at Alex Rodriguez Field in Coral Gables, Fla., but also features the UCF Knights (43-15), who secured a berth in the postseason for the second straight season. Miami (Fl.) will open against Stony Brook (46-11), while the Knights will face Missouri State (39-20).
All regional play in the NCAA Baseball Tournament is double elimination, with games scheduled to begin on Friday and extend through June 3 or 4, depending on how the games play out. All games in Coral Gables will be available on ESPN3. The winner of the Miami regional will take on the winner of the Baton Rouge regional next week.
