The Miami Heat were never really threatened in the first two games against the Knicks in Miami, but the venue shifts to New York on Thursday night, where the Knickerbockers are a totally different team. The game starts at 7 pm and can be found on TNT.
The big story from this game will actually be someone who isn't even going to lace them up and play. Amare Stoudemire punched a now infamous fire extinguisher case and ripped his hand apart. He'll miss this incredibly important Game 3 as his hand heals. Knicks fans, who were already displeased with Stoudemire's performance relative to the size of his contract, probably aren't thrilled about this whole situation. If Amare is sitting court side in a suit, and one has to assume that he probably won't be for this very reason, the fans will probably let him hear it pretty good.
