With the Orlando Magic still looking for a new general manager and head coach after the dismissals of Otis Smith and Stan Van Gundy, its still up in the air on who the Orlando Magic will take with the 19th overall selection, but the talent available this late in the draft will have no problem jumping into the Magic rotation.
In ShreridanHoops.com's latest mock draft, Joe Kotoch has the Magic taking North Carolina C Tyler Zeller.
19. Magic – Tyler Zeller, C, North Carolina
The Magic are in limbo with the current Dwight Howard situation. Regardless of what happens, they need to take the best player on the board. Zeller falling this far would benefit the Magic, which would give them a young, viable alternative to Howard. He brings a polished offensive game and is NBA ready.
Even if Dwight Howard were to stay, Zeller would be an attractive option at 19. Zeller was the most consistent player on a loaded North Carolina team, and he would have no problem working into the rotation, working as a nice change of pace Howard. Zeller has shown flashes of a consistent mid-range jumper that coupled with his low-post game, could make him one of the more dynamic post scorers in the NBA.
