The Miami Heat start their quest for the 2012 NBA Championship with Game 1 of the Finals on Tuesday night in Oklahoma City. LeBron James enters the Finals playing some of the best basketball of his life after rescuing the Heat from the brink of elimination against the Celtics. All eyes will be on James' superstar matchup against Kevin Durant, with both largely considered the two best players in the league.

James is looking to exorcise the demons of a disappointing 2011 Finals against the Mavericks. This is his third appearance in the NBA's Championship series but the experience won't make things any easier against a young but extremely impressive Thunder team. Miami can set the tone and steal the first game at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday night as the Finals transition to the 2-3-2 format.
