College World Series 2012: Florida Gators Still Unbeaten In NCAA Tournament Play

The Florida Gators came into the NCAA baseball tournament as the No. 1 overall seed, and they're yet to disappoint. The Gators now head to the College World Series, unbeaten in NCAA tournament play.

The Gators first hosted the Gainesville Regional, in which they defeated Bethune-Cookman (4-0) and then Georgia Tech twice (6-2, 15-3) to move on to Super Regional play. Florida hosted North Carolina State in the Super Regional and took two of two from the Wolfpack to advance to Omaha. The Gators won the first game 7-1 and took the second, 9-8, in 10 innings.

Florida is 47-18 on the year. They'll be making their third-straight CWS appearance, opening play against No. 1 seed South Carolina (45-17) on Saturday. No. 3 Kent State and No. 2 Arkansas are also on Florida's side of the bracket.
