In four games against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Miami Marlins have been outscored 33-7. Losing 11-0 to the Rays on Friday night, Miami is hoping to get back on track Saturday afternoon, and so is their picture, Anibal Sanchez.
Sanchez has given up four or more runs in three of his last four starts, one of those losses coming at the hands of the Rays. Sanchez so far this season is 3-5 with a 3.40 ERA.
His counterpart on the mound will be Tampa's James Shields. Shields is 7-4 this season with an ERA of 4.06 and is 2-2 with a 4.46 ERA in six starts at Tropicana Field this season.
