NBA Mock Draft 2012: Magic Have New GM In Place, But Who Will They Add Thursday?

With Rob Hennigan now calling the shots as the new General Manager, there will at least be some stability at the top making the Magic's draft choices on Thursday night. Orlando could go in a number of directions, with Dwight Howard trade rumors continuing to run rampant. ESPN's Chad Ford released his latest mock draft on Monday after another weekend of smokescreens and rumors. Ford thinks Orlando could end up with one of the most-talked about prospects this week, but for all the wrong reasons:

I'm not sure when the bleeding will end for Sullinger, whose stock is falling now that concerns about his back have every GM in the league a bit skittish. However, sources say the Suns and Sixers are still considering him in the middle of the first round.

The Magic also could use a real low-post scorer. Sullinger is the top talent left on the board and a player who could come in and contribute immediately.

Sullinger was red-flagged last week by some NBA doctors. The Ohio State big man reportedly has back problems. The disappointing news then continued on Monday when it was revealed that the one-time top-ten pick did not get an invite to the green room backstage on Thursday.
