Tuesday marks the second day of the 2012 Championships at Wimbledon after the first day featured the losses of two high-profile Americans, John Isner and Venus Williams.
The lone Florida-native in competition, Sloane Stephens, had a strong showing in the first day on Monday, beating Karolina Pliskova in straight sets to move on to the second round. Stephens does not play on Tuesday, but Serena Williams, a current resident of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, will make her tournament debut against Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of Czech Republic.
Also making their debut in the tournament on Tuesday are Americans Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish.
Television coverage of play began at 7 a.m. ET on ESPN2 and will run until 5 p.m. ET. Matches can also be watched live via Wimbledon's official website.
