Standout Miami Hurricane football players Seantrel Henderson and Ray-Ray Armstrong are once again the subject of rumors centered on potential suspensions. According to InsideTheU.com, Armstrong is suspended indefinitely after interacting with a booster on Twitter. Henderson's alleged indiscretion is less serious, according to InsideTheU. The massive tackle reportedly showed up a day late coming back from a break between summer sessions this week.
Armstrong is a top-flight defensive back and there are hopes that Henderson will anchor the offensive line. Miami has not responded to initial inquiries about the two players' current status with the program. Via Susan Miller Dignan of the Miami Herald:
I had originally heard rumors that Seantrel and Ray-Ray were dismissed from the football team, but those are apparently false. When I called UM to ask about those rumors, I was told by Chris Freet, the UM associate athletic director for communications and marketing, that UM declined to comment on anything regarding that subject and Al Golden was on vacation and could not be reached.
