Marlins Vs. Phillies: Miami Shoots For First Series Win In Philadelphia In Over Two Years

The Miami Marlins continued their recent winning ways on Saturday, defeating Cole Hamels and the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4, and the Marlins have a chance with a win Sunday to capture their first series in Philadelphia since April of 2010. Miami has now won 22 of their last 31 ballgames.

Carlos Zambrano (3-3, 3.00 ERA) will take the mound for Ozzie Guillen's club on Sunday at Citizens Bank Park. Zambrano has struggled mightily in his career in Philadelphia, going just 2-4 with a 5.72 ERA in six City of Brotherly Love starts.

The Phillies will counter with Joe Blanton (4-5, 5.05 ERA), who historically has fared well against the Marlins franchise but has struggled in the 2012 campaign. In his career, Blanton is 7-2 with a 3.10 ERA in 10 starts against the Marlins. Blanton, however, is 0-2 with an abysmal 12.51 ERA in his last three overall starts.
